The New York City Drone Film Festival (NYCDFF) is dedicated to showcasing the best aerial drone footage around. Everything from feature films to documentaries, to extreme sports, to who can take the best “dronie” (selfie taken with a drone). To really appreciate what is possible with drone cinematography, you have to check out the two and a half minute highlight reel from the festival. The footage is comprised of everything from amazing time lapse footage of city scenes to flying through a volcano. Quite amazing and beautiful indeed!
