Even though it will fly at over 85 miles per hour, speed is just one of the many tricks that the Teal drone can accomplish. If you think about the current types of drones available to consumers today, you have the camera drone, which DJI is leading, the “follow me” drone, like the Lily, and a wide variety of FPV racing drones. Teal is designed to be modular enough to do all of these things and more. The drone is designed to fly 10 minutes on one battery in lightning quick speed and up to 20 minutes on a single charge at slower speeds.
The Teal is also designed to be very versatile with an open software development kit (SDK) that encourages development and innovation. For FPV-racing, the Teal offers modules with low-latency cameras and analog transmitters. There’s also a camera for capturing 4K video and 13-megapixel stills built into the platform. And while the Teal is big on function, it is designed to be small enough to fit into a backpack!
